Happy Earth Day...

I wish that we didn't actually need a day to dedicate to the earth. I wish every day was earth day. I wish that people would really understand what we have done to the earth. I am so tired of people telling me that this is just a cycle of life. That the earth is just changing, and it is nothing to do with the way we, as humans, have treated it in the past. I don't understand how people can argue that climate change isn't real. It is snowing at my house as I write this. It was 14 degrees in Lethbridge this afternoon, and by the time I got home from preschool with Avery, it was 2 degrees. It took just over an hour for the temperature to drop that quickly. And... did I mention it is April? I am okay with snow in the winter. I am not loving the snow in spring. I guess it wouldn't be such a big deal if we didn't have snow everyday since October.
So... I found this cute little chunk of digi scrapbook things and thought, how appropriate... I scrapbook, and I love the earth.
So, if you don't already think green, and act green and live green, think about little changes that you can make....

So true. I can't believe the number of morons who say climate change is not real, especially when they use THE ICE AGE to back up their thinking. Most of the time, the only thing they know about the Ice Age is from the movie - you know, with Sid the Sloth. The next person who says this to me is getting a fist in the face.
