So that is 2009 in a nutshell. I have been holding off on doing too much because I have a weekend away in February... and I can not wait!
Happy New Year and all the best in 2010!

This is with old Fancy Pants stuff from the summer, Prima and Bazzill flowers, old tickets, old buttons, brads and ribbon. I am gonna use up my stash if it kills me..... ;)

Here are a few more layouts that I have recently completed. The first is with the new MME Life Stories Collection. Who doesn't love kraft paper????? It was perfect for pictures from my friend Amy's birthday party. It was a fun night... until I got home. But that is another story.
That said, I did spend some time taking pictures last night, and I got this one of the kids! I love it, Grant thinks it is weird, but I think it actually showcases the love that my kids have for each other, and every once in a while will show to each other.......

the one I spent a whole morning on and hated? Well, it is the same photo, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one so much more. I also got a little wild and crazy and crumpled some acetate and then layered it over my photo. It makes it a lot harder to photograph, but looks really great up close!

When this paper first came out, Haley and I immediately started to plan a trip to Drumheller. Yep. We were going to go to Drum just to take some pictures of dinosaurs and hoodoos so we could scrapbook. Crazy. I don't think so. Needless to say, we still haven't made it to the museum, but I did have these pictures from our trip to the Calgary Zoo a couple of summers ago that are perfect!
After working on the family canvas. I have never been so dirty.
I hoped that if I licked the Grand Prize and then told people I had H1N1, no one would want it.... the plan backfired.
Trisha and myself with a snippet of my favorite class of the day.

I am finding that because I am new to this, there are several things I don't know how to do, and that I am sure there are ways to do other things that I would like to try, I just don't know how to do it, or where to find the stuff. That said, I am now going to search for some cutesy Superman and Lady Bug stuff so I can do the kids' pages too!
This was taken this summer at Miles' first birthday. The paper was absolutely perfect for this layout. I really like the PDQ stuff, because you don't have to do much to make a wicked page.

This layout is for Jani's wedding album. It is of her and our grandma. I really like how this came together. I think it is classy in a funky way. If that is possible.
